Novalith
A landscape that runs from a Stone Age village to a modern city and a rocket lifting off

Nova + Lithos

From banging rocks to conquering the stars

A strategy game you play in your browser. Your people live on an atoll: the crater a fallen piece of star left in the sea. Everyone starts in the Stone Age: build, colonize the islets by canoe, win over a sea god, fend off the sky beasts, and reach the next era before anyone else. The round goes to the alliance that completes the Ascension.

How it begins

  1. Step 1

    Get your atoll

A village, 18 plots that produce every hour even while you’re away, and a ring of islets to colonize by canoe.

  2. Step 2

    Upgrade your plots

Every level produces more, and you can see it. Quests tell you what to upgrade next, and each one comes with a reward.

  3. Step 3

    Defend your village

The winged wargs are after your larders: raise a palisade and they’ll flee. At sea, an orca, a turtle, or a whale sinks the raiders.

Everyone starts equal

No races, no factions. What sets you apart is how fast you research and how well you adapt.

The economy shifts

Every era changes what’s valuable. A stone quarry can end up yielding uranium, if you dig deep enough.

You win together

The Ascension calls for resources from every era: the most advanced players need the ones coming up behind them.

Frequently asked questions

What is Novalith?

A multiplayer strategy game you play in your browser (an MMORTS), in the style of Travian. You have a village on an atoll that produces every hour even while you’re away: you upgrade it, colonize the islets, ally with your neighbours and advance from era to era.

Is it free?

Yes. Signing up and playing are free.

Do I need to download anything?

No. You play in your browser, on a computer or a phone.

Do I need to be online all the time?

No. Your village keeps producing and buildings keep finishing even if you close the page: a few visits a day are enough.

How is it like Travian?

As in Travian, you upgrade resource plots, build in queues, form alliances and raid your neighbours. What’s different: there are no races, you advance through eras, and the round goes to the alliance that completes the Ascension.

Who do I play against?

Against other players and against the island chiefs: atolls run by the game, with the same rules as you. They carry their clan’s emblem, so you always know who they are.

Which languages is it in?

Spanish and English.
